চিকিৎসা বিজ্ঞান : বায়ােপসি এবং আলট্রাসনােগ্রাফি, ই.সি.জি, অতিবেগুনী রশ্মি, এক্স-রে এবং পেনিসিলিন হল চিকিৎসা বিজ্ঞানের বিস্ময়। বিজ্ঞানের কারণে আজ অনেক মারাত্মক রােগ সহজে নিরাময়যােগ্য হয়ে এসেছে।

আধুনিক যােগাযােগ : যােগাযােগের ক্ষেত্রে বিজ্ঞান অনেক বিস্ময় সৃষ্টি করছে। টেলিফোন,
টেলেক্স, ফ্যাক্স, বেতার, টেলিগ্রাম, ই-মেইল হচ্ছে আধুনিক যােগাযােগের বিরাট বিস্ময়। এগুলো
বিশ্বকে আমাদের সন্নিকটে এনে দিয়েছে। আমরা মুহুর্তের মধ্যে খবর পৃথিবীর এক প্রান্ত থেকে
অন্য প্রান্তে পাঠাতে পারি।

গণযােগাযােগ এবং বিনােদন : টেলিভিশন, রেডিও, ইন্টারনেট প্রভৃতি হল গণযােগাযােগ ও
বিনােদনের প্রধান উৎস। টেলিভিশন ও রেডিও হচ্ছে চিন্তা-ভাবনা ও মতামত আদান-প্রদানের
জনপ্রিয় মাধ্যম। এগুলাে জাতীয় এবং আন্তর্জাতিক বিষয়াবলী সম্পর্কিত সংবাদ প্রচার করে। এগুলাে আমাদের বিনােদনেও প্রধান উৎস।

অন্যান্য বিস্ময় : মহাকাশ ভ্রমণ হচ্ছে আধুনিক বিজ্ঞানের সবচেয়ে বিস্ময়কর সফলতা।
এক সময় চাঁদে অবতরণ ছিল মানুষের কল্পনার বাইরে। পারমাণবিক শক্তির আবিষ্কার আধুনিক
